Joseph Paxton grew up rural Wales, where from an early age he developed a close interest in the natural and animal world. In 2005 he graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in Fine Art and has since been working on developing his career as a professional sculptor.
Paxton’s highly recognisable style and method of making instantly captures the character and movement of the beasts he portrays. He has exhibited widely and currently lives and works in London.
