Geoffrey Clarke RA: A Decade of Change

13th September - 26th October 2013

Renowned sculptor Geoffrey Clarke RA was best known for his work in aluminium and stained glass. He fulfilled many public commissions including six pieces for Coventry Cathedral and first rose to prominence exhibiting alongside seven other young British sculptors at the 1952 Venice Biennale. This exhibition at Pangolin London focused on the following decade, charting Clarke’s transition from working in cast iron to aluminium using an exciting new process. Displaying both sculpture and works on paper, the exhibition offered a unique insight into this exciting stage of the artist’s development.
