Of the Assimilation Zachary Eastwood Bloom said: “ The original sculpture, The Laocoon and his Sons, is one of my favourite sculptures and it resonates with me because I have two sons. So I have empathy with it as a father. The title is a reference to death and the state or condition of being assimilated, or of being absorbed into something. “
