Pangolin London has two exhibition spaces in the Kings Place building where we host our vibrant programme of shows. These include our purpose built gallery on the ground floor of Kings Place as well as the Mezzanine Level on B-1. We also exhibit sculpture around the public space and canalside.
Please note that exhibitions on B-1 are open weekends Friday-Monday or by appointment.

Marks on the Edge of Space 27 Oct - 4 Dec 2010 Marks on the Edge of Space featured a body of elegant and intricate works including new bronzes, works on paper, translucent resins and silvers. The power behind Christopher's work comes from their mysterious, abstract presence and haunting character where the shadows cast by the sculptures have an identity of their own and bring an important dimension to the concept of the image. William Pye
Sculpture 9 Sep - 24 Dec 2010 Master manipulator of water and technically brilliant sculptor, William Pye, held his first major solo exhibition in 2010 at two of London’s prestigious galleries: Pangolin London and Osborne Samuel. The exhibition offered a much anticipated overview of Pye’s work and included his well-known water pieces as well as a series of previously unseen bronzes which highlight Pye’s skill as a sculptor of both the miniature and the monumental.

David Bailey

Michael Cooper
An exhibition of stone and bronze sculpture 13 Jul - 21 Aug 2010 Established sculptor and stone carver Michael Cooper presented his first major solo show in London which included previously unseen characters from his truly wonderful, personal menagerie. Cooper’s carving technique means that mass and gravity are ever present in the characterful animals he depicts. Indeed the essential character of his subjects are allowed to materialise through the slow process of chipping away at blocks of intractable stone. Fallis in Wonderland
An exhibition of work by Pangolin London sculptor in residence, Abigail Fallis 5 May - 3 Jul 2010 After a year-long residency at Kings Place, Abigail's new found technical bravado, along with access to the skilled metal workers at Pangolin Editions, resulted in an exhilarating body of work, founded on surrealism and craftsmanship. William Tucker
Sculpture & Drawing 10 Mar - 24 Apr 2010 William Tucker’s sculpture masters a unique balance between the figurative and the abstract with truly powerful results. His works are expressive in their mass and bring emotional gesture to a solid core. An ambiguity of image means that direct interpretations are often elusive, however as a result of this his intricate surfaces and complex forms provide endless enjoyment and intrigue.
This was Tucker’s first major solo show in the UK since his exhibition at Tate Liverpool in 2001. His numerous accolades include representing Britain in the 1972 Venice Biennale, publishing one of the most distinguished sculpture publications ‘The Language of Sculpture’ in 1974 and becoming a Royal Academician. Tucker also won the Jack Goldhill prize for sculpture at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2009 and was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the International Sculpture Centre in 2010.
