Geoffrey Clarke

Published to accompany the exhibition Geoffrey Clarke RA: A Decade of Change, 13th September - 26th October 2013.

Geoffrey Clarke RA is a renowned sculptor best known for his work in aluminium and stained glass. He has fulfilled many public commissions including six pieces for Coventry Cathedral and first rose to prominence exhibiting alongside other young British sculptors at the 1952 Venice Biennale. A Decade of Change focuses on the decade from 1955 to 1965 charting Clarke's transition from working in cast iron to aluminium using an exciting new process.
